Howard's Story
I retired from Bank Of America on January 1st of 2010, my wife retired several years earlier from Target. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary by renewing our vows last year. An after ceremony photo is posted to this site. There are two grandchildren missing from the photo, a boy and a girl. The six of them range in age from 5 years to 22 years of age. We have had a blessed life with our children supporting us even with the loss of our youngest son at the age of 23. We spend our days taking care of two of the GC's on Mon thru Fri so their mother can work, Only two more years of this to go and then we will be able to do more traveling than we do now. s Quilting for a hobby and I do model railroading. I also ride a motorcycle with the Christian Motorcycle Association Chapter based in New Lenox (Freedom Riders). We (my wife and I) especially enjoy our time with our kids and grand kids as we are a very close family. I was sorry we couldn't attend the last reunion but look forward to the next one if it comes up. Since retiring, we are busier than we were when we were working full time.
My mother and father were my role models and personality creators. They showed by their example what type of person I should be. Later in life, the lessons I learned were used by my own children who are Passing those values on to their children.
